Replace this habitual thinking with more mindful acknowledgements

Happiness is not something we struggle for; it should be effectless. It is not found but experienced when you let yourself free and observe the beauty and harmony around you through awareness.

But the constant struggle to be better than others has made it challenging to achieve Happiness. The things that we think will make us happy are to have a good job, more money, good looks, a perfect body, find true love and own awesome stuff. But, if we seriously think about the list, these are in relation to people around us.

The things that actually make us happy are simple, like playing with water, sunshine, fresh flowers, a baby’s smile, and so on. And most of all being grateful for the people and things we already have. So, can we replace this habitual thinking with more mindful acknowledgements? Can we take our first step towards life improvement for ourselves rather than in comparison with others?
